The resort

Scott Nielson bought 53 acres near Sand Hollow State Park and partnered with the Jellystone Park™ brand to build a resort unlike anything else in the state. Nielson Development, our development arm, served as general contractor for the full build.

Phase one opened in summer 2023 with a water zone built around eight pools, a water tower, waterfalls, a lazy river and multiple slides — plus a jump pillow, sport courts and a lake with a floating obstacle course.

In its second season the park was named a finalist for Park of the Year within the Jellystone Park™ franchise, and a finalist in the outdoor hospitality industry's Awards of Excellence.
